Oasis Blames Video Games for Knife Fights

Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher talked a bit about the rise of knife crime amongst the youth in Britain. I am not sure why you would feel the need to ask rockstars about social plights, but hey we will roll with this.

Gallagher said, "I was up in Liverpool for a week a couple of weeks ago and even on the news there it's every single night. In my day, status was trying to be somebody, do you know what I mean, not trying to kill somebody."

Then the magazine NME asked for his opinion on why there was a rise in knife crime. Noel responded: "People say it's through violent video games and I guess that's got something to do with it. If kids are sitting up all night smoking super skunk and they become so desensitized to crime because they're playing these video games, it's really, really scary."

I can't blame video games over the possible real reason broken homes, bad parenting, neglect etc. But pot, oh that might cause someone to kill. Imagine you smoked a metric ton (I am using the metric system for those 4 UK readers) of weed and I am holding a hogs head of moist, warm, brownies. I bet you would knife me for those brownies. That is assuming you have enough energy to get up off my couch and stop playing those violent video games.
