IGN.com reports that the video game Rock Band will be featured at every tour stop on Crüe Fest. At each tour location, there will be a championship style tournament. The "Rock Band Second Stage Experience" will let fans try out the Rock Band game as a bassist, guitarist, drummer, or vocalist. The top scoring players will win a chance to play Rock Band on-stage as opening acts for the headliners, a meet-and-greet with artists on the tour, backstage passes to the Rock Band VIP area, and a chance to play Rock Band against Crüe Fest artists.

I am assuming everyone in their life has played a video game before. Is it fun to watch other people play video games? NO! So why would I want to watch someone on the main stage play Rock Band? I think if you cut that portion out of the winning package it is a kick ass thing just for playing video games. Now my number 129,791,879,821 status on Xbox Live will come in handy.
