Shinedown is heading out on tour with Black Stone Cherry and Nickelback ripoff artists, Theory of a Deadman. The tour will start on July 13 and run until late August. Each band has something new to promote. Shinedown with The Sound of Madness, Black Stone Cherry with Folklore and Superstition (arriving Aug 19), and Theory of a Deadman with Scars and Souvenirs.

The Pulse of Radio sat down and talked with Nick Perri of Silvertide Shinedown and he gave a typical Perri response. This is not a response you are used to someone in Shinedown making. I applaud Nick for adding a bit of spice to this band.

"Actually about 15 minutes prior to the show and with about 15 minutes after the show, I get transported into a different world of just focus," he continued "And not that I don't enjoy seeing the beautiful audience in front of us and the naked chicks and all that kind of stuff, it's fun, but a lot of times it is like there's just a different zone that you're in."
