Let's start with the album with the least amount of hype. Shinedown has a new album coming out. The album is set to be released on June 24 and will be called "The Sound of Madness." You can hear the album at their  MySpace page. It sounds a bit different than the band's previous efforts. But I will admit I have only heard a few songs from them. Someone more versed on the band's catalog can give a review.

Motley Crue's Saints of Los Angeles is to be released June 24. You can preview the album at www.iheartmusic.com. I only had time to listen to a few songs, but it is no Dr. Feelgood, which is sad because I thought it had promise with the single Saints of Los Angeles. Oh well, I haven't officially heard it all yet. I will wait until next week to render my full judgement.
