Cash in on Steven Adler While You Can
Steven Adler is back in the news because he is going to be on Celebrity Rehab 2. This has forced some people to cash in on the connections they have with Steven. Most notiably, his own mother.
Deanna Adler is selling her Las Vegas condo. She claims the following in her eBay listing [grammar errors left in tact]:
The seller is Deanna Adler, mother to famous rockstar,Guns N’ Roses co-founder Steven Adler. Deanna is relocating to Los Angeles as she puts the finshing touches on the book No Bed of Roses, a much-anticipated tell-all which documents the rise of her son in the most exciting rock band of all time.
I will start with the condo. Sell the condo outright. Don't invoke the name of Steven Adler to sell your Country Club condo. If people want your condo, it will sell on its own merit. It probably won't be sold to a Guns N' Roses fan because we are all too poor to afford a $750,000 condo in Vegas.
A much anticipated tell-all? I am all for reading biographies of artists I love. However, the biographies of an artist I love as told by a former lover, manager, agent, even parent is just cashing in. It is a greedy, attention-fueled, money grab by Ms. Adler. I can not support her "tell-all" book. Perhaps someone can buy it and relay any juicy details to me. In the meantime, this picture is for Adler's mom.
