Metallica - Death Magnetic - due out in September
Yesterday, while Metallica was performing at the Bonnaroo Festival, they released the title of their follow up to St. Anger. The new album, due out in September, will be titled Death Magnetic. Here is the logo of the album, stolen directly from Metallica's MissionMetallica.com website.
First impressions? So far, everything that I've heard sounds pretty cool. Rumour has it that they will even release a new ballad, which was painfully absent from St. Anger. I personally will welcome a new album, but without any preconceived expectations. If it sucks, I can deal with it. If it kicks ass, then I'll have a new album to speedfuck* to.
