Once you take your art too seriously....say.. to the point that you don't want to answer pretty basic questions (no matter how much of an asshole the interviewer is i.e. the entire BNR staff) to promote yourself and your band then you're doing yourself a disservice. You'll just find yourself looking like a bag of douche. Seriously, who wants to read a lame interview. I'll tell you....no one. Personally, if I'm reading it, then I want to be entertained, otherwise I should be watching "Full House" re-runs.

Hint: Be a sport, crack a joke, change the topic. Don't get bent out of shape. Don't be a vag.

If you don't want to answer the questions, then don't agree to an interview. We at BlogsNRoses.com have been rejected by a few bands in our day, bands that just don't feel comfortable answering the hard hitting questions....thats fine, our questions rarely go unanswered. They just get answered by someone with a pair.

Coldplay is a great live band. I own all of their CDs. They have always been well received, they would sell a butt load of records if they didn't do interviews. Hell, they would sell a butt load of records if "Viva La Vida" were a piece of corn-filled shit jammed into a plastic jewel case. I won't lie, my CD collection contains several kernel infused turds. That's life.
