While several of the writers of Blogs N' Roses are quick to bash Metallica for their involvement in the now infamous Napster situation of 2000, the band has embraced new technology and channels of distribution over the past few years. Here are a few examples:
- iTunes
- Rumoured to be releasing their first single for Rock Band series
- LiveMetallica.com - download all recent concerts, and some rarities
- MissionMetallica.com - preview new album
- For the record, this website has an option for a "platinum" membership for an additional fee. This is in addition to their "MetClub" fanclub. Luckily for Metallica, I will not bash them for this, as I am a shameless capitalist.
