There is a new supergroup being formed. The tenative named for the band is called Chickenfoot and the band will feature, Joe Satriani (guitar), Chad Smith (Drums), Michael Anthony, (bass), and Sammy Hagar (vocals).
 
The band has studio time booked for late summer with a release probably in the winter time frame.
 
Chickenfoot? That is the band name? Couldn't they come up with something cooler than that? I would even accept the Cabo Wabo Tequilitos. Or they could just take a part of their old bands and mix them into a new band name. Something like Deep Hot Halen or Mick Jagger Solo project Chili Peppers Halen.
