Candlebox is ready to release Into the Sun. It will mark their first album in ten years. Before you scream out, "This band is not the original lineup" or some other derogatory quip, let me inform you.
Candlebox has the original songwriting team of Kevin Martin and Peter Klett. They also have the original drummer Scott Mercado. Only the original bassist has been replaced, Adam Kury, by Bardi Martin.
If you are anxious about the new record Into the Sun, you can check out the lead single, Stand, on the band's MySpace (www.myspace.com/candlebox) site. You can also download Stand and Surrendering from iTunes.
Here is the Into the Sun tracklisting:
01. Stand
02. Bitches Brewin
03. Surrendering
04. Into The Sun
05. Underneath It All
06. Miss You
07. How Does It Feel
08. A Kiss Before The Dying
09. Breathe Intro
10. Breathe Me In
11. Lover Come Back To Me
12. Consider Us

Candlebox needs to pick the opening band a little better. The small town sleeper band needs to be back in the bars in a small town.

This band small town sleeper belongs with Candlebox
The Bass player is about as old as dirt, maybe 40+.
The guitar player is related to a kangaroo. The singer holds no tune and the drummer just plains sucks.
