Lemmy the Movie
The Dirt, the Motley Crue movie, may never come out. When it does, it may never live up to the hype. However, a movie that is sure to deliver is one about Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead fame.
The film "promises fans more access than ever before to Kilmister's life, and includes interviews with past and present bandmates and such peers/admirers as Slash, Dave Grohl, the Clash's Mick Jones, Alice Cooper, Steve Vai, and Triple H."
No doubt this is Vic Wettner's greatest masturbatory dream. A documentary about Lemmy with interviews from Triple H and Steve Vai. In fact, I would bet that he isn't the only one out there masturbating while reading this. Let me help you complete.
One of the two directors had this to say about shooting Lemmy for the documentary:
"Lemmy never ceases to surprise me," Orshoski says. "You think you know who Lemmy is, but you have no idea. If you think you have Lemmy all figured out, trust me. You don't!"
"Shooting Lemmy is like filming dangerous wildlife. He never does what you expect him to do, and he never does anything you want him to do," Olliver says with a laugh. "A lot of the coolest shots are shots we had to wait for four or five shows to go by before we could get them."
The movie should be out in 2009. Check out more at www.lemmymovie.com
