Heaven and Hell are currently in the studio recording an album set to be released in 2009. This is great news after the boxed set news. Oh you haven't heard about the awesome Black Sabbath: The Dio Years box set? Let me tell you.
 
A boxed set featuring all three Black Sabbath releases with Dio (Heaven and Hell, Mob Rules, and Dehumanizer) and the live collection (Live Evil) will be released on July 22. Each album has been recently remastered, which is good because I won't have to turn my iPod up to listen to the songs because the sound is so terrible on the original recordings. Also included in the set are extensive liner notes, interviews with the band, and a deluxe slipcase.
 
You can buy the set at digital retailers for $24.99 or, if you are like Joe Wettner and refuse to have anything digital, you can buy the box set in stores for $54.98. That is the suggested retail price and if you pay that much, you are being ripped off. It will probably be discounted to about 45 bucks.
