We Kick Ass

This blog/website started as a way to promote the Philadelphia based band, the Union Dead. Unfortunately, they broke up just as we designed and bought the site. We were left with trying to figure out what the hell we were going to do. We had a kick ass name (blogs n' roses), but no direction on content. We decided to just recreate our local bar conversations, but this time in print.

It seems to have worked. We have a loyal fan base, met great bands, and clawed our way to recognition.

Some how over the past year, the Blogging world has taken notice of our website and decided to rate us. BlogNRoses.com was rated at a 9.3 by Blogged.com. This is awesome and we thank them for even taking notice of our blog.

Blogs N Roses at Blogged

This rating puts us in the top Ten of all music blogs and top 50 of all entertainment blogs out of 80,000 blogs available on the internet. This is really impressive and quite an achievement. The editors at Blogged.com evaluated our blog based on frequency of updates, relevance of content, site design, and writing style.

So we thank them and we thank our loyal fans who continue to come back and read our opinions. We have great stuff coming up for you including awesome interviews with Andrew W.K and Fosterchild. We will continue to try to bring you bands you have not heard about that we think are awesome, the Dirty Pearls, the Fishnet Stalkers. And we hope you support them because they kick ass. And we must not forget that we will also speak out against terrible musicians who just plain suck, Dave Matthews Band.
