Chad Kroeger Convicted of DUI
Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger has been sentenced to a one-year driving ban and a $600 fine after he was convicted of drink-driving.
The singer was arrested on in June of 2006 in British Columbia, Canada after police stopped him for speeding. He was then charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. The no-talent hack pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence in November of 07 and was finally sentenced on Thursday.
Nothing but a slap on the wrist. I know someone else up for a similiar charge who could get worse. If only he was Scott Weiland or Chad Kroeger he would be immune to the law.
