Vivid Entertainment is set to release a sex tape allegedly starring Jimi Hendrix. Apparently, they obtained the video from a memorabilia collector.
 
The footage is 11 minutes long and features Jimi, or a really good look-a-like, engaging in various sexual acts with two women.
 
CNN asked the expert on all things Jimi Hendrix...his autobiographer, Charles R. Cross. When it comes to Jimi, don't ask his family, or his former lovers, consult his biographer.
 
Cross says the man in the video is not Jimi Hendrix because "the man in the tape is wearing more rings than Hendrix was known to wear." That's it. Case closed. The man in the video wore more rings than Jimi and thus it can't be Jimi. Wrap this up, and call it a day.
 
I am guessing the real reason it isn't Jimi is because he didn't douse the ladies in alcohol and set them ablaze.
