Bomb Threat Interupts Bon Jovi concert
On April 26, a bomb threat was called in the Broward County police at a Bon Jovi concert at the BankAtlantic Center.
Sunrise police received a phoned-in bomb threat this evening from someone saying they would blow up the arena with two bombs at 7:57 p.m., said City Commissioner Sheila Alu. She said the police had bomb-sniffing dogs sweeping the arena for anything suspicious.
Bon Jovi and Daughtry were set to perform to thousands of fans who had to be removed from the arena. It is unclear if a distraught boyfriend who was forced to watch his girlfriend's panties get soaked while watching Bon Jovi, called in the threat. Also unclear if Richie Sambora called the threat in himself so he could drink more. I suppose the police will continue to investigate.
