Jane's Addiction is Back
Eric Avery, ex bassist from Jane's Addiction, will play with the rest of Jane's Addiction at the NME Awards in Los Angeles on April 23.
This will be the first time the original Jane's Addiction lineup has played together since 1991. In a statement from Avery, he explains his reasons for not reuniting before:
"I've chosen to reject the prospects of reuniting in the past for personal and philosophical reasons. I have always considered reunions to be a way to make a quick buck, and it sells short my own experience of it the first time around."
Simple translation: I need money and will be trying to make a quick buck. I like Jane's Addiction and I am on my own island in that like. I even liked the album Strays...AGHAST! Here is my favorite Jane's Addiction song, the Mountain Song.
