MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee has revealed through an online post, that the band will start a World tour on July 4. He also addressed the rumor that he had quit MÖTLEY CRÜE.


"Nope! I never quit! Silly rumors! We're all together!" Tommy wrote in a February 25, 2008 online posting. "We're goin' on a world tour starting July 4th!!"


The world tour will be in support of the band's ninth studio album entitled "The Dirt." The album has a tentative release date of July 8 with a single released to radio on May 7.
