Concert for World Peace

Ray Waddell of Billboard.com reports that World Peace One, a not-for-profit global peace advocacy group whose mission is to bring peace to the world through a 10-year global campaign of concerts, is in discussions with such marquee acts as U2, Madonna, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Lionel Richie, Celine Dion, INXS, Velvet Revolver, WILL I. AM, Justin Timberlake, and Timbaland for a series of international concerts to begin May 17.

It sounds like a pretty cool concert if they are all on one bill. But I am tired of the Live Aid, Live 8, Live Earth bullshit. I am also tired of musicians telling me to get behind this cause or that cause. I am only getting behind video games and musicians who actually shut up and make music. But I still will love U2.
