I was going to watch the Grammy Awards and update my thoughts as it was happening, but then I saw The Time and Rihanna perform and decided it was better I played NHL 08 on the PS3.

I tuned back into the show and saw the Foo Fighters performing with an orchestra conducted by John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin. The performance wasn't bad and it even had some interesting moments.

I decided to play more NHL 08 and then at 10:35 I saw what Cuba Gooding Jr. described as Amy Winehouse. I have not heard anything from Ms. Winehouse only that her drug reputation proceeds her. So I was expecting to see a terrible performance, coked-out performance. I was sad to see it was only half terrible. Then she won Best Record or something.

I think the only problem with Amy Winehouse is she is freaking ugly as a turd with teeth.

I have no idea who else might have won this evening because it ultimately doesn't matter. If the Foo Fighters lose to Rihanna, I still won't buy a Rihanna album. If Carrie Underwood performs "When He Cheats" with members of STOMP, it still won't top a drunk performance by Slash. So screw the Grammy Awards, they mean nothing except those that win kissed the most ass. Steal your music to completely fuck the record companies and thus the Grammy's.
