I love this band

I have found an interesting band. They combine Borat with rock into this awesome matchup of accordions, violins, guitars, drums, piccolos, and crazy asian cacklers. The band is called Gogol Bordello and hail from New York City by way of Eastern Europe.

Their crazy brand of music is called Gypsy Punk and it's more than just that. It is a complex sound that has several catchy hooks for mulitple insturments wooven throughout each song. Their performances are also explosive and held together by their Borat lead singer, Eugene Hutz. You believe he is just acting, but I assure you he is not. He is from Ukraine and has been doing the Borat impression since before Sasha Baron Cohen thought it up.

The other band members are from various European countries and have wildly interesting names:

Sergey Ryabtsev - violin, vocals - Russia
Yuri Lemeshev
- accordian, vocals - Russia
Oren Kaplan - guitar, vocals - Israel
Thomas Gobena - bass, vocals - Ethiopia
Eliot Ferguson - drums, vocals - U.S.A
Pamela Jintana Racine - vocals, percussion, dance - Thai-America
Elizabeth Sun - vocals, percussion, dance - China, Scotland
Pedro Erazo - MC, vocals - Ecudor
