Scott Weiland says Stone Temple Pilots Reunion "imminent"
According to an interview with Scott Weiland and the MiamiHerald.com, fans should be on the lookout for a reunion of Stone Temple Pilots in the coming months.
I have no idea if this means a recording of one song, one album, embarking on one tour, or if the DeLeo brothers Dean and Robert are in jail and awaiting Scott to be placed there after his DUI conviction.
Speaking of his DUI case, Scott was expected to appear in an LA courtroom last Thursday. He is charged with driving under the influence of drugs after being pulled over by police in late November.
Velvet Revolver is still scheduled to begin a U.S. tour on January 24 in Chicago. Dates have been confirmed through Feburary 9. So this news is kind of out of the blue. Stay tuned to BnR for updates.
