Billboard.com reports that Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant and bluegrass star Alison Krauss will kick off a world tour in support of their acclaimed 2007 album "Raising Sand" with a handful of dates in the U.S. and Europe this spring.

Here are the early tour dates for the US:

April 20 - Louisville, KY @ Palace Theatre
April 22 - Knoxville, TN @ Knoxville Civic Coliseum
April 23 - Chattanooga, TN @ Memorial Auditorium
April 26 - Birmingham, AL @ BJCC Arena

There will be an 11 date European tour that will follow in May. They will come back to the US for a longer tour in June and July. Dates will be announced shortly. If you decide to go, make sure you yell out that Plant should stop this bluegrass bullcrap and tour with Led Zeppelin. I am sure he will take your drunken, slobbenly advice to heart and listen to you seeing the error of his ways.
