Where's Walt Part III
Like the Locke Ness Monster, Silvertide only surface for air a few times a year. If your eyes aren't laser beamed on that locke every second of everyday, you may very well miss the action. When we last left off with our tight-trousered heroes, the band had performed sans Nick Perri at the MMR*B*Q II, while the aforementioned guitarist toured with Perry Farrell's Satellite Party. The status of the band still remains a mystery, they play about two shows a year and that elusive sophomore album is tucked into some deep crevice in Clive Davis' pants.
This year lead singer Walt Lafty plans to release a solo acoustic album containing songs born out of what I can only fathom to be complete boredom resulting from some contract snafu that has put the band in career limbo. The fruits of Walt's labor sound like a lo-fi mash-up of Simon and Garfunkel meets Coldplay...so basically he sounds nothing like Silvertide.

Here's to the ambiguous glory of limbo!
