Another KoRn Guitarist Leaves
It is hard to keep track of who is playing guitar in the band KoRn. First, Brian "Head" Welch left the band because he found God. Then David Silveria left citing the fact he wanted to rehab his body and focus on personal things. Oh, don't make me mention how many guitarists replaced Welch on various tours.
The latest "going" from the original KoRn lineup is James "Munky" Shaffer. He cited personal and family reasons. Jonathan Davis had this to say:
"We fully support Munky's need to be home right now and because we want to come through for all of our European fans, the tour will go on. It's what Munky wants us to do, too. We promise to give it our all every night."
This departure leaves only two original members of KoRn, Jonathan Davis and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu. Shane Gibson was filling in for Welch and Ray Luzier from Army of Anyone was filling in for Silveria.
Just maybe it is time to cut your loses. Three out of five original members left the band and it is just sad now. You ruled the late 90's, I bought your cd's, and saw you live. I thought you should have stopped while you were ahead. But you pressed on and now you mean less. Take 10 years and try the reunion thing with all members. R.I.P. KoRn.
Since KoRn is dead, here is Megadeth performing "Gears of War."

For an extra 10 points: What flayboyant front-man did Ray Luzier tour and record with?

That would be Diamond David Lee Roth.
But also R. Patrick from Filter was charismatic, but not as legendary as DLR.
By the way, hey man nice shot.
