Before their days providing an angry soundtrack to disaffected white trash, Pantera looked like the most glammed out bunch of pansies in Texas. That's right, you homophobic, redneck dicks...Pantera used to be a hair band. Feast your eyes out on these choice pictures from those halcyon days know as the 80's.

Back then Dimebag Darrell called himself Diamond Darrell, the whole band sported spandex trousers and Phil Anselmo was a girl. At least I think that's Anselmo on the left, but I can't tell because of the girl hair. Bravo to Vinnie Paul for not changing in the last two decades.
