Twiggy Ramirez Rejoins Marilyn Manson
Twiggy Ramirez (a.k.a. Jeordie White) has rejoined Marilyn Manson for Manson's upcoming North American tour. The U.S tour entitled "Rape of the World tour." Twiggy will join Chris Vrenna, Rob Holliday, and Ginger Fish for the tour.Marilyn had this to say on his website: "Everyone will suffer now." Truer words have never been spoken. Twiggy is a great bassist. He totally kicked ass when he toured with Nine Inch Nails. Joe Wettner can attest to that fact.
In an interview with the Des Moines Register, Jeordie White was asked if he missed the days of Twiggy Ramirez, the dresses, the shock, the theatricality. His response was:
"I miss it sometimes. There's a lot of parts of my life that I like so much better now. One of the reasons I'm not in (Marilyn Manson) anymore is that I started to feel a little ridiculous....The time period I was in that band I meant it, all the stupid or pretentious. The Twiggy Ramirez character was real. And then it began to start to feel like Gene Simmons or something. 'Oh I gotta put my dress on to go play.' If I were to do that again I probably wouldn't be that same person. I wouldn't just do the KISS reunion and throw the dress on and smear my makeup and start doing a bunch of drugs."
Then what good is going to come out of this return to the Manson Family band? How will everyone suffer if they are not looking at you in a dress Twiggy? I guess we will always suffer by having to look at Manson's pasty ass in a black leather thong and ripped fishnets.
Tour dates should you feel the need to relive the late 90's and Columbine.
