The Gigantour has officially released their 2008 lineup. You may know this tour as the cheaper, better alternative to Ozzfest.

 

Last year the tour featured, Megadeth, Lamb of God, Opeth, and Arch Enemy. This years outing will include, Megadeth, In Flames, Children of Bodom, Job for a Cowboy, and High on Fire.

 

Dave Mustaine had this to say about the tour: "The breaking news is we are going to have five bands this year, instead of eight. The decision to drop it down from eight bands to five was based on timing, set lengths, stage sizes, unions, and most importantly allowing 'us' — the musicians — to deliver to 'you' — the fans — the best shows we can."

 

If you are so inclined a DVD of last year's tour will be released on April 22, 2008. The track listing is below:
