Led Zeppelin and Metallica playing Bonnaroo?
Billboard.com reports: After a rumor that Led Zeppelin and Metallica would headline 2008 Bonnaroo festival, the event promoters spoke out against it.
"The rumors that are out there about the Bonnaroo 2008 headliners are inaccurate. We are very excited about the lineup that we're putting together for this year's festival. We'll be announcing the confirmed lineup toward the end of January-beginning of Feburary."
Who could possibly headline this show and have it live up to the hype? The Stones? The reanimated corpses of the three dead Beatles + Paul? Any real lineup will pale in comparasion to this fantastic rumored double-bill. Metallica and Led Zeppelin on the same bill. Even Christ himself wants to see this.
