According to TMZ.com, Scott Weiland was arrested for a DUI late last month in L.A.

He was driving on an L.A. highway around 6:15 on November 21 when he crashed his car. While Erik Estrada investigated the crash, which had no injuries, Weiland appeared to be impaired. According to police reports, Weiland failed sobriety tests and refused to take a blood or urine test. He was released on $40,000 bail and has another court date on December 13.

The man can't stay sober. You may recall we witnessed this back in our concert coverage of the Philadelphia Velvet Revolver show. He was not performing like he normally does. And a DUI will violate the terms of his parole sending him back to jail for at least a couple months.

So kids, if you were looking for that new Velvet Revolver album, Scott has to dry out first.. But I doubt the rest of the band will want to wait for him to get out of prison. So I am calling it right now. Velvet Revolver breaks up, just in time for Christmas.
