KCAL-TV (Channel 9) in Los Angeles, California is reporting that Axl Rose's house was almost burned up in the California Wildfires that occurred last month.

 

The wildfire that left six firefighters hurt and destroyed dozens of homes, burnt Axl's roof and some of the grounds on his sprawling estate.

 

Beta Lebeis, Axl's assistant who lives on the property says that Axl fought to save his home.

"He helped a lot. He did a lot. He was with the hose everywhere. Then the firetruck came in and locked us. So then they told us 'Just close the garage doors and just go back in. There's nothing you can do' because it was like an inferno outside."

I think Beta Lebeis is not a native English speaker. She is unfamiliar with euphemisms. That raging inferno was Axl's homosexuality. The hoses he was playing with was the flaccid and rigid members of his guests. The garage doors are the "Exit Optional" back doors for the party.

All joking aside, the inferno probably burned the master copies of the long awaited Chinese Democracy. This will inevitably delay the release of the album.
