Add Broadway Musical to U2's long list of credits. They are currently working on the score for the new Spider-Man Broadway musical.

 

Spider-Man, the musical, will be directed by Julie Taymore. She directed "The Lion King on Broadway."

U2, according to insiders, has already written 20 songs for "Spider-Man." The show will be all original, with none of the group's prior hits scheduled for inclusion.

 

This is really too bad because I would love to hear "Bullet the Blue Sky" while Spider-Man is fighting Goblin.

 

At the same time, the group is getting ready to record an album that will hit stores before the end of 2008. Now that James Brown is dead, someone has to claim the "Hardest Working Man in Show Buisness" title. I guess Bono is tossing his hat into the ring...and his mullet too.
