Axl crashed on Slash's grandmom's couch. One day, Axl refused to give up the couch so Slash's grandmom could have a seat. Slash confronted Axl about the incident while driving to band practice. Rose responded the only way a human being confronted by such a situation would, he jumped from the car which was moving at 40 mph.

Axl can not handle criticism of any kind. The man is incapable of dealing with it. It makes perfect sense in his long line of freak outs. Remember when James Hetfield burned himself up at the Toronto show and Axl refused to be 'upstaged' by the event? Well that action lead to a riot. Rose knew that no matter how kick ass Guns N' Roses was that night, the only thing that would have been talked about was the burning of James.

This will explain the long lapse for Chinese Democracy. Every time a song is 'leaked' the critics, bloggers, and fans tear it a new asshole. Nothing will live up to the hype that this non-record has created. If Axl is going to hurl himself out of a moving vehicle to avoid talking about not giving up the couch, what will he do to avoid hearing about the inevitable criticism of Chinese Democracy?
