Meatloaf "Quits" Music
The Sun is reporting that Meatloaf may have quit music forever.
About an hour into a show at Newcastle's Metro Arena, Meatloaf proclaimed to the crowd, "This is the last show I may ever do in my life. I can no longer continue. I take my coat off and thank you for 30 years." He then walked off stage.
The tour staff have negated this claim. Promoter Andrew Miller said, "It's clear it's just exhaustion and stress. It's not his last gig, that's for sure."
Clearly, the tour staff and promoter are trying to salvage a sinking ship. We all know 'Loaf has been done since The Rocky Horror Picture Show. And afterall if you have been around for 30 years, it is up to the artist at that point.
Anyway, here is me performing Sweet Transvestite from The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I may not look like Tim Curry, but then who can? I hope you enjoy.
