The best new lyricist is.....
A while ago we posted a link to an article about the worst lyricists ever. Such an article has led me to search for up and coming musicians with actual lyrical talent. I'm talking about double entendres, metaphors, analogies and references about Einstein. My search has yielded a grand total of one artist. He is one of the most popular artists on MySpace and YouTube. This young man's name is Bo Burnham. At just 17 he is brilliantly marketing himself and paving the way for a very promising musical-comedy career. Here is a small sampling of his stuff.

I would never deny a kid his comeuppance, but this is exactly like Stephen Lynch's whole comedy routine. I was bored by this.
