According to Star Pulse, a group of American and British musicians have staged the world's highest concert. The concert was held on the slopes of Mount Everest.

Mike Peters of The Alarm, Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats, Cy Curnin and Jamie West of The Fixx, and Glen Tillbrook and Nick Harper of Squeeze took part in the event for cancer awareness charity, Love Hope Strength Foundation on Sunday.
