A new update has been posted on Metallica's Official Web Site! Yes, according to Metallica.com there is NOTHING new,  "The big update is... that there is nothing new to report. Things are as you would call it, status quo, consistent, constant, invariable, unaltered, unchanged, unfailing, uniform, unvarying." The band continues to work on new songs, recording, and what have you. 

I for one am relieved to know that everything is going well in the "Metallica Hood." 

On a side note, I personally was a tad disappointed with Metallica's last album, the title of which need not be named, but I still expect great things.
