Van Stone bill themselves as Palmdale California's number three band. I have not had the privilege of witnessing Van Stone laying down the rock law live, but judging by their menacing image and unabashed love of sleaze, they could very well be the number three band in the world (right behind Van Halen and Metal Skool, of course.) For some reason, Van Stone will be hanging up the proverbial pointy metal guitars and sleaze rock  after their final show this Friday, October 12 at the very classy Roxy in Hollywood (ok, I guess it would be the literal pointy metal guitars).

As you may have guessed, subtlety is not Van Stone's forte, so check out their catalog of should-be hits like "Two in Da Pink," "25 Dollar Blow Job," "Show Us Your Tits," and "We're Van Stone."
