Radiohead "Pay what you want" for their new album
Radiohead has been hailed as "visionary," "innovative," "genre-defining," but I hail them as pompous. Here is a short excerpt from the Associated Press. I must warn you, it contains high amounts of fellatio on behalf of Radiohead penis-taster Jake.
"Radiohead is thinking about the future again.
Ten years ago, the British band released their landmark album "OK Computer," a masterpiece hailed as visionary for its forecast of a soul-crushing computerized dystopia."
I will stop there because I shit my pants reading that. "Soul-crushing computerized dystopia." What this means in layman's terms, Radiohead redefined emo rock.
The frat douches listen to Radiohead to pretend to be more cultured and sophisticated when they are about to date rape an art chick. "Oh look I like Radiohead too. Drink this." That is the bottom line. And since Rolling Stone is run by fraternity douches who sell out to companies, it is no surprise that they love Radiohead.
More drivel from the fellator:
"On Monday, Radiohead sent shockwaves through the music biz with the announcement that its new album, In Rainbows, will be released for download from http://www.radiohead.com on Oct. 10. The price? Whatever you choose. You elect how much to pay, be it one cent, $15 or $100."
This is not shocking, I have been choosing my own price for music since Napster. The price? Free. Honestly, is this news "shocking." Prince did it better when he offered his cd free if people bought tickets to his show. That screwed his record company (they get all the money from the sales of the record), and gives Prince more money (his money is made in ticket sales to his concert).
So I decided to try this and I went to download the album. I put in the price $-100.00. I figured Radiohead fucking owes me money for all the annoying blowjob articles written about how awesome this band is. That didn't work. So I refused to download it.
By the way, I love that picture of Thom Yorke because he looks like a retard on pudding day.
