MacKayne is still alive."I am happy to report that I am not dead." Ian MacKaye finally said.
Reports of his death were reported on such newsworthy sites as MySpace.com and Wikipedia.org. The Wikipedia.org entry has been removed. The MySpace entry was probably a pedophile trying to score some action through sympathy Heartbroken teenagers are more gullible over the loss of their punk icons.
