Sex Pistols news - Guitar Hero and U.S. gig

Billboard.com reports: the Sex Pistols have sold out. They are giving in to technology and keeping up with the times. No, you won't see them in the new iPod touch commercial, but you will pretend you are Johnny Rotten on Guitar Hero III.

The Sex Pistols have re-recorded "Anarchy in the U.K." The track will be used in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock set to be released on October 28 for your Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii.

"I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out but it actually turned out great and I think everyone held their own. I like [Guitar Hero III] because my friends' kids like it. And I like what the kids like." says Steve Jones the guitarist for the Sex Pistols.

Also the Sex Pistols have announced that they will play a private club show for fans on October 25th at the Roxy in Los Angeles to help mark the 30th anniversary of the release of "Nevermind the Bollocks...Here's The Sex Pistols."

The great thing about this appearance is it is sponsored by Corporate America. Los Angeles radio station Indie 103.1, the video game Guitar Hero III, and Helio. Corporate America will rape anyone...even the Sex Pistols.
