Johnny Rotten calls Sting "Carcass"
In a sad attempt at promoting his 30th anniversary show of the seminal release "Nevermind the Bollocks," John Lydon a.k.a. Johnny Rotten, called Sting (of the Police) a "soggy old dead carcass."
The former punk rebel dismissed Sting as "Stink," saying "That really is reformation isn't it? But honestly that's like soggy old dead carcasses. You know listening to Stink try to squeak through Roxanne one more time, that's not fun. It's like letting air out of a balloon."
But you should go see the Sex Pistols attempt to gargle through "God Save the Queen" one last time, right Johnny?
The beauty of the Sex Pistols is Rotten doesn't care. Which might make him better than Sting in this situation. Rotten knows the reunion show is just for the money, but Sting and the Police hide the fact it is about the money under the guise it is about the music.
That is the only concession I will make to Lydon. You can be the judge of who looks better Rotten or "Stink."

Note: There are probably better or worse pictures of both, but I just pulled a train at the Y and don't have time to search for them.
