BnR Action Thursday is coming back at you and this time spanning 20 years. This week we have in one corner Burt Reynolds as The Bandit. In the other corner we have Tom Sellick as Magnum P.I. The winner will be determined by who gives better mustache rides.

Round 1

First up is Burt as the Bandit.



He is cool under pressure, he continues to chew his gum, he thwarts the police, jumps a bridge, gets Sally Field hot and bothered, makes a sex joke. +6 for Burt.

Up now, Tom as Magnum P.I.



The upside for Magnum, he has a Ferrari. The downsides, he has an inner monologue while being chased, he gets hunted down by a GTO, he shoots recklessly and injures a woman. -2 for Tom.

Round 1 goes to Burt as his blue collar mustache ride was clearly enough to win uppity Sally Field's loins.

Round 2:

Let's take a look at the Introduction to each. Again Burt gets first shot.



BORING! Nothing happens. -2.

Now Magnum



80's Helicopters, rocking theme song, chases in a Ferrari, shots of the Tom Sellick chest mat, sly smile at the end. +5 for Tom.

Round 2 goes to Tom. This is close. It will be determined by the final Round.

Round 3:

Again, Burt is up first.



Cool under pressure, takes Trans Am into stream, has culturally stereotyped Asian yell Banzai as he crushes car. Burt +3

Up now Tom. This video has no sound, but it must be shown:



Magnum gets points for tight jeans to accentuate his package. The nuns get an idea of what they are missing. He didn't shoot just any nuns, he shot the correct nun. +2 for Tom.

Final Score: Tom Sellick 5, Burt Reynolds 7.
