I will base this solely on the dates. In 1978, KISS were at their commercial peak. They had the highest average attendance in the group's history (13, 550) and their gross income was $10.2 million dollars. However all that quickly changed when they released, simultaneously, four KISS solo albums - one by each member. That was the beginning of the end. Then they took their make up off and Eric Carr took Ace's spot and Michael Bolton co-wrote the songs.

If you want KISS' Kissology, I can't stop you. But know that the only relevant years of KISS are 1974-1977. Do you really need this album in your collection? (I made the size massive to emphasize the sheer ugliness of four men.)
