New Buckcherry Video - Is it worth your time to view?

There are four things a full, red-blooded, American male needs in his rock n' roll video. They are naked (or half naked) women, the U.S. military blowing shit up, stock footage of the Atomic Bomb exploding over Nagasaki and Hiroshima, and a song that makes you want to punch little babies. The new Buckcherry video has 75% of these mandatory things.

Buckcherry's new video for their next single Broken Glass starts out with a bang, literally. It shows stock footage of the Trinity Test outside of Alamogordo, New Mexico. (The Trinity test was the first successful detonation of the Atomic bomb)

Sure, no male in America will ignore the fact that mushroom clouds caused by the detonation of a large nuclear device is cool, but what it has to do with the song Broken Glass...I have yet to figure out. However, I do not feel that impedes on the song.

And just when I thought watching mushroom clouds rise out of the New Mexico desert wasn't cool enough, the video jumps into footage of the American Military disintegrating targets with missiles. YES! Kill those bad guys U.S. Military! And you Buckcherry, keep interrupting my watching of explosions with shots of your band performing at a festival early in the day!

Which brings me to the song itself. The song is catchy and it makes me want to run real fast and punch things (like babies) The explosions even heighten my need to do both. But what kills my berserker rage is the footage of the band performing at a festival they clearly are not headlining. Show more explosions!

That doesn't take away from the video being fairly cool. You will find Broken Glass off Buckcherry's new album 15. And if you liked the Lit Up era Buckcherry, you will like this cd. You can also still catch them on tour. Click here for tour dates. They are a fun band to see live. They are no Rod Stewart live, but hey who can be?
