AC/DC and Bon Scott vomit on iTunes

Verizon; AC/DC; Powerage
AC/DC has announced that they are not allowing Apple's iTunes the chance to sell their music. Instead they are going to allow Verizon to sell their music through Verizon's online music store.

Anyone can go to Verizon's online music store and buy the music, however you can not buy individual songs. You have to buy Powerage in its entirety. Why you wouldn't want to buy the entire AC/DC album is beyond me? But I understand that 14 yr old, rap loving teens have only heard Back in Black (thanks to Jay-Z's sampling) and want that on their phone. However, the only song available as a single song download is "You Shook Me All Night Long." Why that song? I have no idea.

That brings up a quick point. Only Verizon Wireless subscribers will be able to buy and download using their mobile phones. This will inconvenience the drunk bar buyers who are trying to win a bet.

A quick search of Verzon's online music store reveals that most of the AC/DC albums are priced at $11.99. This is about $1.03 more than if you bought the CD through Amazon.com. Another benefit of buying through Amazon is you can buy the CD's used, thus further saving money. Bottom line, if you love AC/DC and want them to get paid, buy from Verizon's online music store. If you love AC/DC and are in the Wilmington DE region, email us and we will allow you to "hear" our copies of every AC/DC album ever made. If you are not in the Wilmington DE region, you can buy from Amazon.com and get the entire AC/DC catalog for less than $50.00.
