Chris Cornell is GOD

It seems there may be hope for rock after all and his name is Chris Cornell.  I had the pleasure of seeing Chris tear the fucking roof off the electric factory this past Sunday. Those of you who didn't attend because you were bored by his new album missed out on this one. He only played a few tracks from his latest release "Carry On" and other than that is was like seeing Soundgarden and Audioslave (without all the political bullshit that is).

After starting the show with a new song the band erupted into "Original Fire" and from that point on was a musical orgasm of sound spewing from the speakers. He threw in a few more of his solo songs to give all the older Soundgarden type fans a moment to go take a piss, but then he was right back at it again. I have no clue where he found his band at but they were phenomenal. Especially the way they interpreted the Tom Morello's signature "wah wah" type sound into true rock style guitar solos.

Bottom line, if you want a true rock n' roll show there aren't many bands out there that can truly deliver one anymore. Chris Cornell definitely delivers. Hopefully he sticks with it.
