Old Video Day Cont. - Stevie Ray Vaughan
Stevie Ray Vaughan was one of the most influential blues guitarists to walk this earth. He and his band Double Trouble put out some amazing records before Stevie died in a helicopter crash in 1990.
Here is a video of him performing on Japanese TV. Stevie used to play with a Fender Stratocasters. However, in this clip he is playing a Gibson Flying V. From what I understand this was a studio guitar given to him so he could perform. Why he didn't bring his own guitar is beyond me. I also understand the harmonics on the guitar are fairly thin and this is the reason for the laugh at the end of the song. Sure there are harder rocking SRV songs, but this one shows his ability and on a Japanese TV show no less.
