Craig (12/5/2006 12:20:29 PM): and they announced stevie wonder
Craig (12/5/2006 12:21:03 PM): and these 12-16 yr old kids screamed and yelled like they were meeting Burt McCracken from The Used
Craig (12/5/2006 12:21:29 PM): now i bet 98% of those kids have no idea who stevie is
Craig (12/5/2006 12:21:42 PM): the other 2% may have heard of him but only through american idol
Craig (12/5/2006 12:22:18 PM): its stevie wonder the man helped define an entire generation

Me (12/5/2006 12:22:49 PM): yes, well, that is why there shouldn't be 20 awards show

Craig (12/5/2006 12:22:50 PM): he has more top ten hits than i have ages on this earth

Me (12/5/2006 12:22:55 PM): yes

Craig (12/5/2006 12:23:09 PM): award shows are stupid

Craig (12/5/2006 12:23:55 PM): oh i saw that but it only promoted how fantastic GTA was

Me (12/5/2006 12:23:57 PM): and i only liked the oscars when LOTR won a ton of awards
Me (12/5/2006 12:24:08 PM): and the grammys are awful
Me (12/5/2006 12:24:20 PM): the mtv awards are the worst now too

Craig (12/5/2006 12:24:23 PM): and GTA is fantastic but its not the greatest video game ever...that distinction is super mario bros

Me (12/5/2006 12:24:42 PM): yes

Craig (12/5/2006 12:24:52 PM): oscars are joke even when LOTR won

Me (12/5/2006 12:25:16 PM): only cause they snubbed them for two years and then gave them all of them the third year

Craig (12/5/2006 12:25:34 PM): that is because of how much money it made

Me (12/5/2006 12:25:44 PM): yes of course

Craig (12/5/2006 12:26:07 PM): i used to think 'oh my god my favorite _______ didn't win' then i realize i still loved ______ whether it won something or not

Me (12/5/2006 12:26:21 PM): yes
Me (12/5/2006 12:26:38 PM): metallica and u2 are darlings of the grammys though

Craig (12/5/2006 12:26:43 PM): who beat metallica that one year for heavy metal

Me (12/5/2006 12:26:50 PM): deftones?

Craig (12/5/2006 12:26:53 PM): was it

Me (12/5/2006 12:26:58 PM): i dont know, what year?

Craig (12/5/2006 12:27:09 PM): hold on ill consult a friend of mine

Me (12/5/2006 12:27:18 PM): sure

Craig (12/5/2006 12:27:53 PM): The nomination was for the newly created Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance Vocal or Instrument.
Craig (12/5/2006 12:28:02 PM): It went to Jethro Tull

Me (12/5/2006 12:28:09 PM): oh yea, years ago

Craig (12/5/2006 12:28:33 PM): yea then in the corporate era of metallica they started winning

Me (12/5/2006 12:30:24 PM): although, that is probably fitting

Craig (12/5/2006 12:30:28 PM): oh my god
Craig (12/5/2006 12:31:12 PM): S&M was a cool record
