Rap's Messiah and Rap's Judas due to battle

Rap's pseudo-intellectual, Kayne West and the Human bullet cushion 50 Cent are due to battle on September 11. Their latest albums are due to fly directly into record stores and blow up the shelves. Each man piloting their own marketing team into this head on collision. Neither backing down in the face of the other in this high stakes game of chicken.

50 Cent's new record Curtis will be dueling with Kayne West's Graduation cd (Remember Kayne's last cd was called College Dropout, how he made it to graduation is probably due to subsidized government loans from the man he professes to hate, George Bush.)

Half dollar had this to say to WQHT..or as I call it the OK Corral since more shootings have occurred outside the radio station than the legendary Corral.

"I'm coming September 11. If Kayne comes that day, he comes that day. That'll be great. I think his people are smart, I think he's smart too. I think they'll move [the record release]. But I'm coming September 11."

So many sexual innuendos so little time.

Kayne told the bastion of reporting MTV News that the rap competition is good for the Rap game. (See other hip hop games like Lyfe, Sorry, I shot ya Ass, and Ghettopoly)

"I'd rather come out on a day like that, up against 50 - where people were excited about going to the stores and it's an event and people talked about it - and be #2 on that day rather than come out and be #1 on a day nobody cares about. It's about things going down in history. It's not that much exciting stuff in Hip-Hop right now. [Yes that was reported grammatically incorrect]. I think people are going to make it more than what I'm making it myself. At the end of the day, I'm making music and I'm trying to sell."

I know my Best Buy is having Midnight Madness, where you dress as your favorite rapper and discuss the merits of that rapper and how he stacks up against the greats. Much like the Harry Potter events held at Barnes and Noble and Borders this past Friday.

The epic war is sure to shake the industry down to its foundation. Be ready America, for history is about to made.
